Regardless of the time of day, the finals at the Olympics are going to be an intense, nerve-wracking, incredible experience. That being said, if there is a change it will affect everyone equally, not just Americans. I’ve swum finals in the morning at other meets and actually liked it. If there is a change, it’s going to be important for everyone to realize that competition is competition regardless of the time of day.
